About Us

Since it's beginning in 1982 American Transmission has been owned and operated by Keith Segars. Keith has been in the transmission remanufacturing and repair business for all of his working life. He also has a passion for racing and had driven on the ARCA circuit in 1987 and has re-entered once again in 2001. Keith is currently running in selected races in conjunction with Morgan McClure Racing Team. Keith has been a driver off and on for the Richard  Petty Driving Experience in Daytona logging more then 30,000 Miles around the Daytona track

His first love remains American Transmission and the business he has built. American Transmission is more then a Transmission repair facility. We also remanufacture Morris Torque Converters. We build Hi-Performance and specialty converters. All converters are of the highest quality. We offer complete automotive repair as well.
